Thunderbird for Mac
Email client from Mozilla.
As of July 2012, Thunderbird has transitioned to a new governance model, with new features being developed by the broader free software and open source community, and security fixes and improvements handled by Mozilla.
Thunderbird is a free, open-source, cross-platform e-mail and news (NNTP) client developed by the Mozilla Foundation. The project strategy is modeled after Mozilla Firefox, a project aimed at creating a Web browser.
It does really feel like a web browser, which I feel a mail client isn't. I have to turn to terminal to get proper logging of connections. When exporting messages for archives there exist no solution that guarantees all messages and attachments make it even when all are on disk. What's that?
I don't feel I know what it's doing and I''ve been an email user for 30 years and ain't no newbie in setting up and analysing mail servers nor setting them up myself.
